Janna places special focus on the look process while exposing college students to a multitude of practical complications. For these tasks, the instructor assumes the function of general contractor with severqal tasks to be finished, and the learners become small consulting businesses who must develop estimates and bid on the tasks. (The SI Program of Units is provided. and Chapter 10 introduces learners to 20-25 style projects they can complete by themselves or in groups.) Chapter 9 introduces learners to the look process; The initial eight chapters cope with piping systems, warmth exchangers, and pumps. Following the bidding process is completed, each group devotes all of those other semester to controlling and completing their porject, and compares their approximated bids and task likely to the actuals jobs and costs.
